Surface, colorless liquid varnishes are produced using the same resins and thinners as the base paints. For this reason, they have similar coating properties (thermosetting, very good adhesion to base paints, very high performance, very high UV resistance, and very good mechanical and chemical resistance of the resulting coating) and additionally they are characterized by very high transparency, which means that they do not change the color of the basecoats. They come in various degrees of gloss, including deep matt, semi gloss and high gloss.
